BIO
Anastasiya Ponomareva is a nomadic multidisciplinary young artist whose practice spans painting, sculpture, and digital media. Working across oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, colored pencils, clay, and Procreate, she selects each medium instinctively, drawn to its unique energy, texture, and emotional resonance. Her approach is both experimental and intuitive, weaving the tactile richness of traditional techniques with the ephemeral qualities of digital expression.
Born in Mozyr, Belarus in March 1998 and currently based in Mexico City, Anastasiya’s creative and spiritual journey has taken her across continents, cultures, and inner landscapes. The Belarusian origin and childhood gave rise to a lot of love for fairytales characters, stories , legends , as well as nomadic way of life deeply informs her art, which often explores themes of connection to nature, spirituality, transformation, empowerment, feminine energy, and the nature of identity. Her work moves fluidly between abstraction and figuration, guided by a fascination with the cosmos, mysticism, and the unseen realms.
Each piece is a visual meditation and a ritual—a space where emotion and spirit are translated into form. Through vibrant color, layered symbolism, and expressive mark-making, Anastasiya creates portals into liminal spaces where the physical and spiritual worlds intertwine. Her art invites viewers to slow down, observe and reawaken their intuitive relationship with inner light, connection to God through self-discovery, love, and the flow of life. Influenced by nature, mythology, dreams, and the subconscious, Anastasiya draws inspiration from everyday poetry: the warmth of the sun, the rhythm of the ocean, the feeling of blooming flowers, or the quiet pull of the stars. Her practice is a meditation—a way to translate Source’s message into the physical world.
Whether sculpting in clay, layering pastels, or painting digitally, Anastasiya’s work is a living archive of her journey—an evolving testament to the power of creativity as transformation, connection, and divine play.
